As part of its founding mission, The Lensic is committed to supporting Santa Fe’s and northern New Mexico’s arts and culture nonprofits and social service organizations.

The Lensic has served as the one of the community’s favorite gathering places since the 1930’s.

This tradition is continued with The Lensic Community Sponsorship program. The Lensic venue is offered either free of charge or for a nominal fee to nonprofits in northern New Mexico for presentations or fundraising events.

Since opening as the nonprofit Lensic Performing Arts Center in 2001, The Lensic has given sponsorships to over 150 local and regional nonprofits. These groups have raised over $1.5 million through events at The Lensic.

In addition, The Lensic provides each group with backstage technical assistance, box office management, and marketing and public relations services to assist the organization in creating a successful event.
