Fund the Future Campaign

In 2011, The Lensic celebrated its 10th anniversary as Santa Fe’s nonprofit performing arts center and announced the purchase of the historic Lensic Theater from longtime owners, Greer Enterprises. With these milestones reached, it is time to look to the next decade and beyond.


To build on the success of the last ten years and to guarantee the continued excellence of The Lensic experience, we are currently seeking support for a $2.5 million Fund the Future Campaign. Money raised from the campaign will be used in two ways:

Capital Improvements & Preservation

The Lensic will dedicate $1.5 million of the funds raised to capital improvements to replace and upgrade both technical theater equipment and essential facets of the theater over the next 10 years. These include:

  • Theater seats
  • Dance floor
  • Lobby and theater carpet
  • Main PA Speaker system
  • Ladders and backstage tech gear

Strengthening Our Programs

$1 million of the Fund the Future Campaign will allow the continued quality and diversity of The Lensic’s own programming through the Lensic Presents series, Youth in Performing Arts Education, Community Sponsorship and Tickets Santa Fe programs.
