The Lensic calendar features more than 50 events during the months of January and April in dance, contemporary and classical music, film, opera, lectures and community events. These events are presented by myriad groups, from Aspen Santa Fe Ballet and the Santa Fe Symphony to Wild Earth Guardians and the Lannan Foundation. The Lensic also presents its own programming, through its Lensic Presents series.

Aspen Santa Fe Ballet presents the dance company MOMIX’s new full-length piece, Botanica. Inspired by the mysterious, sensual world of flowers and plants, Botanica invites the outdoors in with magnificent props, costumes and stage design and a beautiful score layered with birdsongs and Vivaldi’s masterwork, “Four Seasons”. 1/24
Santa Fe Pro Musica presents a Classical Weekend program of Brahms, Chopin, Mozart and Mendelssohn, featuring Chad Hoopes, violin, Michael Anderson, clarinet, Dennis Godburn, bassoon and Cecile Licad, piano. 1/27-1/29
The Santa Fe Concert Association brings the Moscow Festival Ballet to The Lensic for two performances, Cinderella and Giselle. 2/2 – 2/3.
Lensic Presents is pleased to bring back the blues singer and guitarist Eric Bibb, with actor and musician, Guy Davis, in an evening of the blues. 2/10

The Banff Mountain Film Festival returns for two days of incredible short films and features on mountain culture, sports and environment. Presented by SDC Mountain Works and The Lensic. 3/21-3/22.
NT Live returns with two brilliant plays, Shakespeare’s The Comedy of Errors and She Stoops to Conquer by Oliver Goldsmith.
The singer, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Andrew Bird, an indie favorite, comes to The Lensic. 4/19
The New Mexico Jazz Festival and The Lensic present the entrancing collaboration between the American saxophonist, Charles Lloyd and the Greek vocalist Maria Farantouri. 4/20.
The Santa Fe Symphony Orchestra & Chorus presents Spring Inspiration, featuring Brahms’ Variations on a Theme by Haydn and Brahms’ Requiem. 4/22
