Program Underwriting
Program underwriting allows businesses the opportunity to support some of The Lensic’s most important and long-standing programs and services. These programs are integral to The Lensic’s mission to serve as a center for the arts and community.
Underwriting Benefits*

Underwriting opportunities begin at $2,500. Performance underwriting must be secured at least two months prior to performance date. Benefits vary by program and sponsorship level. We will work with your company to create specialized packages to meet your needs.
Please note: some of these programs may have more than one sponsor unless your business sponsors the entire program cost.

Funding Opportunities
Performances
Big Screen Classics – This series returns The Lensic to its heyday as a film palace by showing classic films with broad community appeal.
Under Construction – Showcases theater pieces under development in an original, ongoing series.
World Music Series – Hosts musicians from around the world, such as Los Pinguos from Argentina and Lúnasa from Ireland.
The Met: Live in HD – Showcases high definition live simulcasts of the Metropolitan Opera.
National Theatre Live – Presents the best of British theatre in HD broadcasts from London.
Circus Luminous – Presents a a thrilling circus extravaganza in collaboration with Wise Fool in an annual Thanksgiving holiday show.
New Mexico Jazz Festival – Features ten days of jazz concerts in partnership with the Outpost Performance Space and the Santa Fe Jazz Foundation
Nuestra Música – Presents a festival of Nuevo Mexicano music, an annual event of more than ten years.
Tickets Santa Fe at The Lensic
Support the community box office that sells tickets for more than thirty-five venues throughout the region
Technical Theater Internship Program
Give high school students with an interest in the technical arts an opportunity to gain critical experience and knowledge while earning high school or college credit.
Technical Theater College Scholarship Program
Help four high school students pursue a college education in the performing arts.
Rental Subsidies
Support every organization that uses the theater by helping The Lensic subsidize rental rates. We subsidize from forty to a hundred percent of the rent for all performances.
Community Sponsorship
Help The Lensic support non-profit and social service organizations by underwriting a portion or all of their rental and production costs.
Behind the Curtain
Give donors and patrons an opportunity to gain backstage access and knowledge of The Lensic’s diverse programming with this special event hosted onstage. The event includes backstage tours, history of the theater and an opportunity to meet like-minded individuals.
