The Met: Live in HD, SIEGFRIED, Rescheduled to January 14, 2012 at 12 pm
The Lensic Performing Arts Center and The Santa Fe Opera announce the rebroadcast of the November 5 performance of The Met: Live in HD, Siegfried, which was cancelled due to a power outage that affected the downtown area and neighborhoods beyond the morning of the event. The rebroadcast will begin at 12 pm on January 14, 2012 and run approximately 5 hours and 29 minutes, with two intermissions. - December 15, 2011

The poem, written by Stephen Vincent Benét in 1928, is considered one of America’s only epic poems.
